That's really only three carburetors... most likely three 48 IDA's. I use to balance two at a time on my VW builds... they really aren't that bad.

We have a couple here in Illinois every year that are pretty good. Both are put on by local area car clubs. Sandwich Fair grounds and Grundy County Fair Grounds. I've been a few times... not really to buy any parts I needed but attempt to network with like minded folks and make new wrenching...

Start a channel on YouTube... then get a shit load of subscribers. You too can be an influencer.

Ford has been pretty innovative over the past couple years. Some cool offerings on the F150... going right after Jeep in the new Bronco line up and bringing back the small truck segment with some nice added functionality. I know this is a Maverick site... but I have high hopes for what they do...

I'm not really a TFL fan... but I should have a peak at this review. Will be a hybrid in the driveway before long. I would rather have to 2.0L AWD version... but momma drives a lot. The economy of the hybrid will be nice.

Been a rough 18 months to be an auto manufacturer. Doesn't seem the halt in production is just with the Maverick... Most likely a supplier or two can't meet the demand. At least it's not a complete show stopper across all Maverick models.

I've never owned anything that comes close to 30MPG's... so I could be happy with that. The trouble I see is that vehicles rarely ever see those estimates... so it's probably going to be lower in reality.

I thought production was a bit further out then that. Maybe we will have one before the end of the year.

Make it Shadow Black and that's pretty much what we ordered. The wife wanted black... I tried to talk her out of it... but I've learned to choose my battles. She will figure out why black (IMHO) is not a great choice. The only thing that worries me a bit... is it's a new model. I've never been...

It does look like a truck... by todays standards. I'm in the minority perhaps... or maybe I'm reminiscing a bit... but most just have to many doors. I think they need less doors and more pickup.
