My only little complaint about the article is the 1500lb payload capacity whining that its not all that great...considering most mid-size trucks have about the same its not bad at all. The Ranger's payload capacity is only about 100-300 pounds more depending on configuration...so 1500lbs for what Ford is trying to pretend is a compact pickup isn't bad at all.

Towing capacity back then was? 4-5k? Did anyone ever actually know and pay attention to those numbers then? Photos I've seen would tell me no they didn't LOL.
