I have owned several Rangers in the past including an '83 that I swapped a 5.0L/T5 combo into, a '94 4x4 Supercab Splash and an '02 FX4. I also had an '07 Sport Trac and currently drive an '18 F-150 4x4 Supercrew. While I am not personally interested in buying a Maverick my brother is. I have been trying to convince him to go with the Maverick instead of the Santa Cruz. He needs AWD so the hybrid in not an option. I did a Build & Price for him on Ford's website which included XLT trim with AWD, 2.0L EcoBoost, 8-speed auto, FX4 package and the moonroof. He likes blue so I did it in Electric Blue. The MSRP was $28,675 which we thought was outstanding for a truck equipped like that.

I have a feeling they're gonna sell a bunch of these. Probably a lot of them just like you B&P'd.

Welcome to Maverick Truckin...

Welcome to the forum.

The current pricing of trucks (actually all vehicles today) is really going to be a major selling point on these Mavericks.

Here's the photo from Ford's B&P site of the truck I did for my brother. The color is actually Velocity Blue.

That’s one of the colors I like. After the last four vehicles being red, I’m sick of red.

.........I’m sick of red.
Its a delusion, have a glass of water and think about what you said(typed), Red is the correct color of most vehicles
It's like saying "I'm sick of AIR" :)

It changes from year to year but for 2020, at least according to these guys, red was not the most popular color.

I've owned a bunch of vehicles over the years and only two of them were red. The first was a two-tone red and white '80 Bronco and the other was a bright red '89 Thunderbird SC. My personal favorite is silver metallic like the Ingot Silver on my '18 F-150. The '02 Ranger FX4 was a similar color. I live a quarter mile from the highway back a gravel lane and I'm lazy. ;)

"Correct" is in the eye of the beholder.

Red is a perfect base coat for another color. That is why primer often comes in red.

Yes, "red is a perfect..............color. That is why primer often comes in red." :)

You added some nonsensical words in between "perfect" and "color", perhaps a keyboard issue or spell check run amuck
